Duane Ballards Bike
Maybe to a guy that thinks he is some sort of Harley Chopper Purist or something this sounds haneous. Some say taking one of these bikes and making it into a chopper is your stepping stone to "bigger and better things" and a good starting point for your first chopper project. I have seen and ridden with guys that think different and know their XS or CB or SR is not their beginner bike and have bikes that are better in most every way than alot of Harley or British Choppers. They are more reliable most of the time than the others too. Ted over at XS 650 Choppers has a great site dedicated to some great bikes that you should check out.
