Baby Steps

Got fork legs swapped over to the black dual disc sliders and mounted up with the new fork covers from West Eagle. That's about it so far on the FXR rehab. Time to get in gear.

Got an extra Ironhead flange sitting around left over from your Biltwell DIY Pipe Kit? It makes a pretty sweet fork seal installer.

Looking good. Looking forward to the Bash. If you come across a 41mm narrow glide, let me know.

Are those forks painted/coated black or is that a black oxide finish? i've always wanted to black oxide finish a tank or fenders.

Iam- it's black powdercoat. Black Oxide would be cool.

radical. also, do you know a machine shop that would make custom tank emblems to replace my 72 cb500 tank emblems?

Depends on what you are trying to make. Might be better to cast a few.

oh nice... the fork seal installer is brilliant - gonna use that. Covers look good too.

Mash the end of the ironhead flange though so it doesn't just chew up the seals.
