We got a chance to meet up with Mike and the guys from Ballast Point tonight at Caffe Calabria in North Park (San Diego). BP is sponsoring the Biltwell Bash with a couple kegs, and we're stoked about that! The Ballast guys share two of our personal interests: beer and motorcycles. Tonight we got to sample their limited edition "Victory at Sea" which is a hearty brew mixed with coffee. My liver doesn't know whether to shit or go blind, but it's happy! Thanks for the hospitality guys.
We also met a few of the Spokesmen of San Diego and we're doing a little meet up tomorrow with them if anyone wants to tag along. They are doing a North County Barley Tour. We're going to be running late but plan on meeting them at the last stop - Stone Brewing Co. in Escondido.
We're leaving Temecula about 2:30-ish and taking old highway 395. If you want to go, just meet us at the shop. 27570 Commerce Center Drive #129, Temecula, CA 92590
The brewery is at 1999 Citracado Parkway, Escondido, CA 92029 and we'll be there about 3:30 or so if you want to meet there.
