Made a throttle cable pulley up a little while back for the Linkert on my 45" to convert it to a pull-throttle. Finally got around to making a proper cable tonight out of a BMX brake cable and housing. Thanks for the tips, McGoo, it worked perfectly. I'll never spend $25 on a real throttle cable again. The wheel was the end of a foot peg I carved up on Chris' lathe and everything else was just scrap stuff laying around the garage. Sometimes it is the little chingas bits like this that actually work out best and are the most fun to make.
